Queueing is pretty stupid right now. It feels like anyone who played the PBE has a massive advantage and thus matches are decided based on who has more people that have played the PBE, which isn't factored into matchmaking. I'm not whining about myself, because I played the PBE, and in queue did fine, got fed, output damage, positioned well, etc. I just seriously mean the knowledge gap is causing a lot of people to play poorly (e.g. in jungle) or not expect certain item abilities, and if it just so happens your team has more of those people than the other team, which is completely luck-dependant, you're at a disadvantage from the pick screen. |

Just had the most hilarious game as tank annie in ARAM. There was a stretch of maybe 10 minutes when no matter what they did they just could not kill me; no matter how many ulted me or chased me I would survive it all. Caitlyn alone failed every single ult that she used on me. Graves ulted me a couple times too, always unsuccessfully. In the encounter that ended that I tanked the entire damage output of two of them, killed them both, and THEN died. |
