We were winning bot lane, but once it got to the teamfight part, that's when it went downhill.

Personally I think the best combo with Thresh is Alistar, Urgot, or Nasus.
Anyone that is tanky and can put on AoE damage is good, more CC the better.

Same, holy stuff.
But it was more like a "because of me we won because I disrupted and did my job 200% perfectly." situation.
I wish I could rewatch that but I don't have LoLreplay.
Thresh is amazing, verbal reinforcement and a positive attitude won. at 20 minutes the score was about 16-23 and they tried to surrender but my friend and I kept voting no (so did the Jayce), after a while we came back, perfectly matched in kills and turrets/inhibs.
both of our teams had mid and bot inhibs down with 2nd top turret still up and then we barely pulled through with a final team fight.
Thresh is the best support IMO, fits all my support playstyles perfectly, thanks Riot.
