I've been playing top and I've been looking at the stats. I end up dealing more or around the same amount of damage to champions as the AD carry. I also feel like I die too often. But I build frozen mallet, black cleaver, and guardian angel.
Is my build too squishy, are the other lanes just feeding their ap mids too much, or is dealing loads of damage an acceptable style of play for top?

yeah top is my favorite champ
I think that's a bit of a squishy build for a champion like top, who just fills that specific niche and benefits the whole team just by being in fights, but if that's the way that you've learned to excel with top then idk why not.

I feel like I could be a much more disruptive presence if I was super tanky. I watched some members from my team play a game with a Garen top the other day, he was doing a sucky job at farming, but he built straight warmogs and then atmas and he did fine in the end.
