I was like 10/1 Orianna mid and then we lost. I got a couple deaths and it ended up being something like 11/4. Team fed hard.

Yes
And we were taking objectives, and playing carefully, etc.
Things just kept on going wrong.
Another thing that didn't really help was that we had a support Annie, who built full movement speed and wards and would attempt to initiate. She would flash in to ult three of them, which would deal about 200 damage, then nobody could follow up because we were too far behind, and she couldn't use the bear when it was needed.

Depends if your toplane is tanky, if Top goes tanky you can rush botrk and then go tanky, or if your top is damage heavy go basic jungle armor,mr,hp stuff
i try to build botrk every game but defensive stats are better if you're the teams initiate and zone.
I tried triniforce lastgame and it works quite well too, but i do not recommend it
