alpha is an excuse to have tons of bugs and unpolished features. legitimate "alpha" status goes away the second you allow people to buy the game.

Ah it might have been playable but not at a framerate that it should have been.
I can play Minecraft with 40-80 FPS with some stuff turned down so why is it that I can turn around and play DiRT 3 on full graphics with AAx4 or I can play Gmod with full graphics AAx4 with a 100 melons rolling down a hill and not get any skipping? and still be 70-150 Frames (Dirt is more like 40-60)
