"Yes? I hear you but I don't know where you are!"

I wake up to the sounds of voices. I have no idea where I am, all I remember is fire and then a bright flash. I slowly stand up, check my surroundings, and head for the source of the voices.

"Name's Jeremy. Where are you?"

"Are you blind?" I reply, "Turn around."

The voices get louder, I turn into a dim room to see two people, I first don't go out, hiding in the shadows.

"Are you blind?" I reply, "Turn around."
"Oh. Hi there."
I turn around, seeing a man almost twice my age.
"How'd you get here?"

"I was on a visiting professorship regarding quantum physics."

My vision goes blank, I fall to the floor unconscious. A loud thunk noise is made

I walk silently towards the voices and step on a nail, "OI!" I shout.

"What in the balls?" I say, whipping around and pulling out my knife.

My surroundings come into view after I wake up, inside a cupboard. I pull it open and climb out, only to find myself in a school cafeteria.

I wake up again a few minutes later, my head throbbing with pain, I moan. A concussion. I look around to see someone facing me with their knife out. I jump up

"Woah! I mean no harm, now if you could just put that away..."

"You have about five seconds to explain who you are before this knife becomes lodged very painfully somewhere you don't want it lodged."

"I have no clue who he is. Anyways, I was in the middle of some freaky nightmare, where the people involved were literally torn apart and broken by the crazies. In my head, I was literally crying, because of the last words of one man to his companion."
