I wake up from a good night's sleep. Another cheery day. I get up, and walk outside toward the financial district. "Hooray for human ingenuity," I mutter as I think of the crazies. As I sing Gilbert O'Sullivan's Alone Again (Naturally) to myself, I spot the old police department again. Still broken down and empty. Still no weapons inside. Only a group of dead cops who's doomed last stand was ill-fated from the beginning. |
