"Not everybody has a combat role."

"Not just combat role, I mean Keith can tear down a ferries wheel with duct tape. I can drive a RV, doesn't look like I have any special talents."

"Keith can take down an old and rusty ferris wheel that was probably incredibly structurally unsound with a roll of duct tape. You probably could too."

"Hell, I could have pushed the thing over."

"Hell, you probably could've poked it with a stick and it would've gone toppling down like a house of cards."

I laughed, "I guess so. But still, I feel bad. We left him to die basically. But at least he lives, Alix and I will just have to be more careful, especially Alix, he might... Kill her." I gulped. "You know what, I'm gonna check on her right now. " I got up from my chair and entered the room she was in. "You alright?"

"I suppose one of us will have to keep an eye on Keith."



I put my hands over my eyes and shake my head

It hurt me bad to see in her a state like this. I went to the bed and sat next to her. I moved her hands off her face and wiped her tears. "It's alright, you made a decision, Keith might not like you anymore, but he's alive, and well. That's gotta count right?" I kissed her on the forehead.


I take a seat on the roof of the hospital and look out into the distance. "I'm going to get to out of here..."
