Author Topic: Apocalypse: The Re-apocalyticalizing [Somebody put out his fire]  (Read 173489 times)

After a minute of the fire roaring, tons of crazies arrive. The smoke from the explosion at the mall had stopped pouring out of the mall, and the crazies now knew this is where we were. They began smothering the fire with old blankets. When they were done, they began setting up camp in front of the bank, the parking lot in the back untouched, but no doubt a few crazies would check back there every once in a while. You had to be an idiot to not know what they were doing. They were going to starve everyone out. They won't try to attack us unless we exited the bank, because they would rather not waste the energy.

I go up to the entrance of the bank with my M4.
Suddenly, crazies. Hundreds of them.
No way I'd be able to take them with the M4.
Not alone, anyway.

I make it to the parking lot through the back door, drive to the store, and go dump more shelves of food into the back of the truck. I realized a minute ago what they were doing.

I wake up and decide to go back up to the roof.

I get onto the roof and I see hundreds of crazies. "God damn it..."

RAGE: 10%

I see Kochie climb back up to the roof.
"Dont worry, we are safe."

"We better be, because I'm getting pissed off now. And you know what happens when I get pissed off.".

"Actually, I must have missed that."

"Well, I was born with the natural inborn ability to channel my rage into a shouts that releases pure energy to make everyone fear me.".

Rage alone won't stop them from rushing you by the dozens.

A few crazies followed Jacov to the store. A few stayed back and eyeballed the back door, but decided to stick to the plan and not touch it, but they would if they were about to get somebody who retreated through the door.

"Well, I doubt that will stop them. We need guns."

"Guns aren't going to stop them either." I said as I walked onto the roof. "They're starving us out, and as soon as Jacov returns from the store, the furniture barricade is going back up and we're locking ourselves in. We need to stick together, and we need all the help we can get. I might be able to find some sort of emergency radio down in the vault, and we can contact somebody to come and help us. The sooner we're out of here, the better."

"Whats the point..." I sigh, "Even if we do survive and kill all the crazies, were all thats left. No signs of life elsewhere..."

"Okay, I admit. Maybe words aren't the greatest weapon in this case."

I let what Ash say sink in for a moment, and I was instantly filled with anger, denial, and every other negative emotion. "No life elsewhere... You don't know that! We could make it out and everything will be back to normal!" I shout, voice sounding like I'm going insane.

I make it to the roof. "I hate to admit it, but Ash is probably right. Well, in this area, at least. Not sure how the rest of the country is doing ever since the internet went down. Not sure I want to know. But we're the only ones that haven't yet become one of them. We're the last remnants of humanity, so to speak."

"NO! We can't be!" I shout as I look over the edge of the bank. "THERE HAS GOT TO BE SOMEBODY ELSE OUT THERE!" I shout as I begin sweating slightly. "I DON'T WANT TO BE VICTIM TO THE CRAZIES!" I shout as I start to panic, tears welling in my eyes, voice beginning to crack and sound shaky.
