Having this idea when using the octagon bricks, which have the studs on the side. Would it be possible to implent code to support bricks from the side instead of just putting bricks/plate above/under them? |

It's possible to allow them to be placed but stuff like hasPathToGround() and willCauseChainKill() would break, so it's better not to at this point. Custom support directions/a BLB collision character for sideways connections would be handy though |
