Author Topic: Where can I learn TorqueScript?  (Read 2695 times)

I'm done with being limited to the number of add-ons to make a game with.
I want to make my own
Note: I searched.

All of the tutorials here suck pretty hard. SS has some good ones, I'm sure greek will show up in a second to post them. Anyways, your best bet is to find a patient mentor that will help you through the basics

This depends on what kind of addons you want to make. If it's weapons or vehicles, I wouldn't be able to help. If it's stuff like server mods, GUIs, etc. I could help with that.

Server mods.
I honestly suck at modeling.

2) (Lesson 1) Variables
3) (Lesson 2) Functions
4) (Lesson 3) Conditional Statements

Thats nice and all, but there's much more than that.
If you want just PM me and I can get a titanpad or something going.

You know any other language?

Yup. C#, PHP, JavaScript, scheme/racket, scratch, and I'm in the process of learning c++.

I was in the direction of asking setro2, oop.

Well anyway, if this is your first language, I have seen very good tutorials on www.codeacademy.com which I have checked out. It kinda gives a good example of how syntax works, it's pretty simular in torque script.
