there will eventually be some disease that forgets with the mind of humans causing them to go feral and attack other humans, given enough time. only difference is i think it'd be contained really fast, since most diseases like that make the animals they infect unbalanced as forget. rabies forgets up deer so they can't walk very well, and even though rabies dogs are pretty dangerous you can kick them over with relative ease.
