no one actually likes v8

it's just that we were all younger

like, honestly, there were no mods that were amazing and are not in blockland today. wrench events were glitchy, etc.

Why can't we do this now?

The only fun I had back in v8 that wouldn't work now are rps and such.  I used to be super happy with horrible looking builds with tons of control panel prints spammed everywhere, then flying around making spam space ships with ugly emitters and asfasammmmm good times
