Extrude:
Resolution is really horrible. Play at at least 800x600 and record at full size, not half.
Also, don't record the HUD. There are several mods that allow for turning this off.

I know the res is horrible. I can't fix that.
Got it for the HUD thing.
Extrude:
You can fix it. Set FRAPS to record at full size instead of half size.
