I'm pretty sure you either had to get the Annual Pass or be beloved. Like Jesse Cox or WoWCrendor. So yes, this is a scam, because they'll have that account already added. If they ask for your password and stuff, it's a scam. Same thing happened with Cata.

- "Do not pay attention to this spam" bar came up in gmail
- I am in no way affliated with WoW, or even Blizzard for that matter; I own Starcraft I, but not a battle.net account
- I never signed up for it.
