I wish I could see stars in the night. Sadly I live in a town.

I live in the country, so it's like this every night.

I'm getting a telescope for my birthday, even though there's a lot of light pollution here.

I'm more interested into our companion, the Moon.

Wow you're so lucky Beach
My greatest passion is astronomy :o
Can you see the entire milky way cloud?

That may have been what I saw, but I'm not positive. I hope so. :O when it comes to nebulas and galaxies I'm still learning.

Damn i'm normal a space geek, but seeing Jupiter is I think not common, besides sometimes (most of the time) Jupiter can't be seen with the "naked" eye.

If you could ever see this from you're own eyes that would be amazing

I'm pretty sure you can't see any of that with naked eye.
You can actually see quite a bit of detail in space as long as there is no light pollution anywhere near you.

I live in rural Wisconsin, and at night if the skys are clear I can see a ton of stars, sometimes I'll stay outside quite late just stargazing.
During the winter it seems like there are more stars, though. Plus it's quieter at night.
