Freelancer. Get it, trust me, it will be the funnest experience you'll ever have. Freelancer is the best game ever.
You fly a spaceship of your choice which you can buy LOTS of different weapons, missiles, shields, etc for. There are TONS of huge systems out there to explore, full of bases and jumpholes and stuff you might never of known existed had you not went exploring. There are also lots factions which you can align yourself with. The flight mechanics are amazing, combat is so satisfying cause of it. You can take missions, earn credits to buy stuff like equipment and new ships, etc. Even after you beat the main campaign you still have a LOT left to explore and can keep on playing forever. Trust me, it's the funnest game ever. I love Freelancer so much.
