Author Topic: illegal immigration, good or bad?  (Read 1561 times)

I was referring more to the whole anchor child thing.
The child will eventually get those benefits.
I just said that the parent would be paying, paying, paying, but end up so little.

When the child is able to support himself he will be paying taxes, and as we know, if he's born here, he's a citizen just like any other citizen.

Ah, that makes sense.

alright then.

Seems like to much work to me though, it'd be much easier and logical to just become a citizen.
Complain about how immigrants can just get in legally? Yell at the quota and long wait times.

Immigrants. In your country. Stealing your jobs.

Climbin' over your fences, snatching your jobs up

Pfft open borders here, no such thing as 'illegal'.

LOLOL going in my amazing quotes of 2012

Pfft open borders here, no such thing as 'illegal'.
Unless you're going into Switzerland.

The issue is, they have to be sure they aren't letting dangerous people in.
It needs to be easier to get in if you aren't dangerous, but it's hard to discern if you're dangerous or not.
...

Oh, sorry, if we made it easier we would let 1000 rapists and murderers in for each good wholesome individual!

I really don't think this is that big of an issue, feel free to point to something that says I'm wrong

You'd let in too many turtles. :c

That's not really what I meant, I just meant it doesn't need to be so easy anyone can get in.

I do agree it needs to be easier though.

I didn't say that either.

However, as stated, there's a 5-10 year wait.

Hey, here's an idea, lets make some jobs for people to process those requests!

holy stuff, I just killed two birds with one stone!

1) We do have a police force, you know
2) Checking things like that is basic work of any customs agency, and that's just for entering and exiting the country
3) Why the forget would they come here to commit crimes, with a greater chance of being sent to jail?

1 2 3, I am in support of this, you know. I was aware of 1, 2 makes sense, and 3 would be just dumb.

4, I was considering making some statement like yours but decided against it.

What we need to do is put piles of pesos all over the border with trapdoors beneath them and when the Mexicans try to pick them up they'll fall through. It'll be like trap hunting.
