Paint color remembered for different bricks?

Lets say that I need to fill in a grey wall with lots of different size bricks. What if I had just finished doing the teal, white, and navy interior? For every different piece I would need to scroll allllll the way back to the same grey.

There could be a "set all" keybind that makes all the inventory slots use the same colour.

That's a good idea, but I would still be annoyed by it

I'm sure I'm not the only one who would find it annoying though.
What I can see for this idea is a very limited use that only a few people actually need
