Author Topic: The Tulpa Megathread V1 (aka "Stop liking what I don't like")  (Read 34265 times)

To the rest of you here making a tulpa, i recommend listening to Xpherience while tulpaforcing and meditating. it helped me make some serious progress quickly today.

can I have a tulpa called 'this thread' and tell him hes a bad person for wanting imaginary friends rather than putting in the effort to get real friends?

^
That and people pretending to have a tulpa

And then a few extra people who actually are working on it. I guess i don't know this community. I didn't really expect anyone here to spend 100 hours on something.

Bravo fourms bravo.

I'm working on mine :/

>tulpaforcing

that sounds like what i do when i force my illusions from schizophrenia (which actually never works unfortunately :c)

Alright, I decided to do it.

I decided on a female reploid-type form, and I'm working on the world/wonderland/whatever you want to call it, but I've got her main body mostly worked out. Here's the transcript from my journal:

Quote
Start Time: 2:15AM
End time: 3:12AM
Total time: 57 minutes.
Goal: Finish up library as much as possible, work on outside, make it more than just a void. Link up any existing scenery.

Result:

Fixed minor Destabilization in library, added sleeping pod for Tulpa in library. Might move it when I create a different living area for her. Added handprint recognition to the pod, glows green when I put my right hand on it, glows red when I put my left hand on it. Not currently linked up to anything in particular.

Started working on her skeleton, trying to make it metal or titanium alloy. Proportions difficult, legs end up too long or too short, may have to look at an anatomy guide, but trying again. Torso-down appears to be formed well enough. Proportions manageable now. She seems to have contracted expanding legs syndrome, her legs won't stop expanding and I've lost control of them. I let the legs expand until the excess skin fell off. they're very well proportioned now. Decided to start writing time-stamps (2:54AM) Finished up upper body and gave her a towel to prevent myself from thinking lewdly (2:56AM) Set her in the pod and realized I didn't give her eyes yet, just sockets. Gave her blue eyes and made sure they moved like eyes should. (2:58AM)

Walked outside Library, added grass. Added Mountains behind library, now appears to be inside of a Vally of some kind. Added a tall tree in front of the library, added small, black gate-like structure around the tree for decoration. (3:04) Added stone path leading to a beach and ocean down at the bottom of the hill. (3:07) Added a cliff some distance to the left if you are facing the ocean, and a cave come distance to the right, will probably have to go and flesh these out somewhat. (3:10) Returned to library and exited world (3:12).

I had insomnia last night, so I decided to try this. I think being tired made it harder to concentrate.

Robo's tulpa is Lusty Argonian Maid

i think you're missing the point. they can be used for great things. not just for loneliness.
not only that, in Tibetan Buddhism it's a sign of discipline and focus. it can definitely help you clear your mind and know what you like in a person. and you don't even have to physically acknowledge them. you just have to think they're there.
plus it's a little hard when you don't like people. i get along fine with people but here in Texas is the heart of the "yolocigarettes", who i just cannot relate to at all anymore. the entirety of their personality is anything random rappers preach to them. slaves to the industry much?

sorry, didn't mean for this to become a speech or anything.

I'm too afraid of ending up insane. Not doing this.

can I get rid of it? or am I stuck with it forever?

Assuming everyone here doesn't have friends.

You try your best to completely ignore it I think, an it goes away.

someone said a while back that it'll go away if you just don't acknowledge it's existence

Uh, I really suggest starting out with personality, because all you'll end up with is a "hologram".

following this guide:

im confused, do i sit down and go through all the senses? or for the first week focus on one sense, the next the other, the next the other, so on and so forth. Do i do that once a day or like 3 or 4 times?

You spend as much time as you need on it. The more input, the more output, obviously. If you want to do regular sessions on each sense, go ahead. The guy just suggests how much time total you should spend in all on each sense, but its all up to you really.
