This weeks minecraft snapshot supports LAN

blockland
he doesnt really like building games, if we had a set map and gamemode, sure, but we dont.

This weeks minecraft snapshot supports LAN
all goddamn versions of minecraft support lan
don't forward ports and you've got a lan server

Urban Terror, OpenArena and it's mods, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (Thing ww2 Battlefield except better.)

Dosh:
Quake 1, 2 & 3
Wolfenstein 3D
Duke Nukem 3D
Decent 1, 2 & 3
Carmageddon 1 & 2
Halo

Free:
YSFlight
Command & Conquer Gold, Red Alert & Tiberian Sun
Ace of Spades

UT2004
it's like $10, but if you buy it in the Unreal anthology it's $20, and includes three other games
if you buy the pack on steam though, it's $40, because it contains UT3 as well
which is okay. UT3 is fun too
the problem with buying the Unreal anthology is that I'm not sure if you can get it digitally anywhere except steam
you'd have to order it

also, the demo for UT2004 is free, and you can play MP with it
very limited with your maps in the demo though

Rage
Kane & Lynch 2
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
Any COD
Any MOH
Mount and Blade: Warband
Counter Strike: Source
Smoking Guns (really cool western shooter, completely free)
Fear 3
Borderlands
Command and Conquer: Generals (or any of the rest of the series)
Halo
Rougelike games with MP (eg: Dwarf Fortress)

All above I have all played and are all really fun with a friend.

Freelancer, you guys could work together to get better ships/equipment and explore.
