--- Quote from: Port on June 09, 2012, 12:27:52 AM ---except speedtest doesn't measure max bandwidth --- End quote --- you gotta convert it yourself. a rate of send can still be shown as an amount. and vice versa ISPs cant tell you your max speed, because thats not a legit way for them to explain the contract, seeing as they offer bandwidth/rate of transfer a smart person can do the math himself to determine how much he can send or receive 1 bit = 8 bytes i dont know why we still measure bandwidth in bits, as we are dealing with amounts much larger then we were in the 70s. im sure there is a good reason. |
