Bisjac:
if it can run on the 3ds, then its apparently good enough to be put on the wii.
why are they wasting the hardware of the wii with all these garbage games?

you guys dont find it pointless to buy a nice big tv, and an expensive new console, just to play games with the hardware requirement of the nintendo64? and even then, most of your game takes place in the handheld device and not on the tv anyways.
sounds like an expensive new handheld device instead.

nintendo isnt going to win this next gen race.
Aphtonites:
The Wii was ruined by an overabundance of party games, I hope the same doesn't happen to the Wii-U.

It will. It's nintendo.
Blastdown:
eventually the system will have a title of their every franchise, but at current we're only seeing Pikmin 3 and New Super Mario Bros.
third-party wise, the only thing that appears interesting in Assassin's Creed 3 but I'm unlikely to actually buy that game anyway. More like "rent" it using GameStop.

if I'm going to get this console, I'd like at least three or four games I would actually purchase immediately and future titles to be excited over. Super Smash Bros. U is interesting, but it's not coming out until next year in the least. Legend of Zelda isn't likely to even be announced for another year or so.

The tablet-controller is interesting and as long as Nintendo continues to do what they're doing with Pikmin 3 with it (allowing you to use either Wii Motes or GamePad) I'll be happy. I'm tired of Wii Remotes and would rather play with the GamePad or that Pro Controller.

I'm on the edge with my decision to get the console. I'm assuming, or at least hoping, Nintendo will give that extra push between now and its release that will convince me to buy it, but until then I'm just going to sit back and watch.
Clone v.117:
I honestly don't see how the WIIU is practical or a useful gaming advancement in any way, except maybe making the controllers a bit more tolerable.
