Games Workshop seems like it's ran by a bunch of cunts. I mean they make cool things but the way they handle their business seems so douchey. Like I said before I really want to get into miniatures but there's no local game shops around. I also don't have that kind of money to piss away.

Because they are. I'm not buying from them anytime soon. I don't really have any friends to play with and the nearest stores that sell miniatures are miles.

Brikwars seems relatively simple. Prolly gonna play it with some friends soon.

It seemed like they always made the whole game a difficult task to get into. A lot of miniature games seem like they're a lot easier to get involved in, at least financially and through getting their stuff.

It is, actually. You should check out the 2001 rule set. It's pretty long, but it has rules for Champions and some interesting damage/attack rules. Brikwars 2010 is in the middle, but isn't quite finished.
