why can't i host properly anymore?
Port:
If the following conditions are met, users are guaranteed* to be able to join your server.
[*] No UPnP system is enabled.
[*] Nothing is wrong with the user trying to join's configuration.
[*] No firewalls of any kind on your computer are blocking internet actions related to Blockland.
If you have a router:
[*] The correct port is forwarded to the correct internal IP through both TCP or UDP.
[*] No router-based firewall is blocking internet actions related to Blockland.
* unless the space-time continuum is broken

This is happening to almost everyone. It's apparently not our faults. If we were able to host fine yesterday, and not today, something is obviously wrong with the master server, or whatever.

If you cannot host you seriously are doing something wrong.

You were probably doing something wrong in the first place, so the game defaulted to using the matchmaking server in order to try fixing it. That service has been unstable recently.
