I didn't need to but I felt offended.

When I replied, I was quite offended, yet I didn't snap at you.

a couple people already partially said this

it's pretty much loving impossible
if this ever works it will be thousands of years from now unless some major phenomena happens

why?
because the black hole would rip you, anyone you're with, and the ship to atoms
not pieces
atoms

that's been exclaimed many times in the discussion of travel via black holes.
last time i checked it was less than atomic
these days just being reduced to individual "atoms" isn't very mind-blowing
the idea is containing the black hole, by the way. that's the whole idea, and presenting the issue of the black hole destroying the ship is a little bit redundant.

technically we already can contain black holes

there are tiny black holes made in particle accelerators, but they evaporate

unless that's old outdated information that's been proven wrong since i heard it?
Then use a bigger particle accelerator

coolest loving thing i've ever seen ever

Particle accelerators never make black holes. That was people yelling that have no idea how particle accelerators work or what they do.

^^^ this so much. thank you for knowing what you're talking about.

Why was everyone convinced that the LHC was going to produce a black hole that would destroy the world?

The only problem is that black holes take away energy, not give it.

k then i heard it from a source that has proven several times now to be unreliable

i will now no longer listen to that source

According to NASA, small black holes may form as a result of the collisions in particle accelerators.

Yeah, can is the key word there. To actually do it you literally have to try as hard as you can to-- and CERN has no intention of doing that.

To address such concerns, CERN mandated a group of independent scientists to review these scenarios. In a report issued in 2003, they concluded that, like current particle experiments such as the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), the LHC particle collisions pose no conceivable threat.[2] A second review of the evidence commissioned by CERN was released in 2008. The report, prepared by a group of physicists affiliated to CERN but not involved in the LHC experiments, reaffirmed the safety of the LHC collisions in light of further research conducted since the 2003 assessment.[3][4] It was reviewed and endorsed by a CERN committee of 20 external scientists and by the Executive Committee of the Division of Particles & Fields of the American Physical Society,[5][6] and was later published in the peer-reviewed Journal of Physics G by the UK Institute of Physics, which also endorsed its conclusions.[3][7]

Wait.

Are we arguing about whether colliders can make tiny black holes, or something else? Isn't the point of colliders being able to make tiny black holes supposed to be about the ability, not whether it happens under usual operations? Because I can't exactly see the significance of the latter.

I dont think OP knows that Black Holes are a theory :I

But eh, if they did exist maybe it could be possible.
