I think NV is better in a lot of ways, but I also think it's extremely boring after a while without any DLC
same for Fallout 3 though
and Skyrim
and probably Oblivion, but I haven't actually made much progress in that game
generally though I think Obsidian did a better job

They did. I seriously hate how people say older game are better.

The guards were one of the worst things about Oblivion.

The only way Bethesda will ever learn from their mistakes is if they team up with Obsidian. For some loving reason Obsidian is the only ones who knows how to make a better fallout (or elderscrolls game) better than bethesda themselves.
