Is Red Dead Redemption going to be released on PC?

I've seen my brother play it on the 360, and it looks amazing. Are there any plans on a PC port? I've seen articles about how it's "not going to to happen at the moment", but those were from 2010 or 2011. Any more recent news?

i thought it was already on the pc.
i have it on the 360 and i already prestiged 3 times(yes you can prestige) and am level 50 but i don't play it anymore cause it got boring :(

From what I have read I don't think so or at least not for a good while anyway.

I don't know why. I'm sure loads of PC enthusiasts complain that "waaah, I can run it u noobsSS!!!!" but it's most likely a compatibility or gameplay issue.
