My explanation about why most clans fail and/or suck

Pages: << < (2/9) > >>

Kniaz:

Exactly.

Bluzone is run by a clan called PRP.

We seem to do pretty well in the sense that there are no commitments at all.

Clans should be more focused on friendship groups who have a collective interest, rather than skill or a specific goal in my opinion.

Pass:

I dislike how some people will have building projects and then turn all the people helping them into a clan member or something of that sort, and create a clan out that one build and call it their clan build or HQ.

Greek2me:

SS is still around. It's more just a group of friends than anything, although it has large projects once in a while and currently hosts a Minecraft server.

This.

What I would do, is I would gather some really close friends who are great builders/eventers
(whatever the clan may be) and we would build some projects and form this sort of pact, and eventually it evolves into a clan with over 6 members maybe. (note: this could take awhile) and then we would make it public for others to join.

It is a group of friends now, and our large projects just take forever.
