Why do so many people ask for admin?

They are immature and are unaware of how the system works.

They don't understand that the host should be asking people to be admin, not the other way around.

I should totally start doing that.

In my opinion, it is because people think admin is a title that makes you cooler.
It's really more off a responsibility, than a privilege.
