i hope we have control over these shadows. i can see there being problems with people having shadows cast where they don't want them to be or where it looks really dumb.

Like what? If a shadow looks dumb somewhere, that's more of the builder's fault for building the object that casted the shadow.

no. if it looked fine before the update but looks mega handicapped after the update its not the builders fault. i dont want shadows casting all over in my house because irl i can just place a lamp and there wont be sun shadows cast. the inside of my house shouldn't turn into a giant sundial.
