If they can make a show, how come they can't make a campaign for the game?

It was made by fans, but I'm saying the TV people saw that and thought that if fans could make money on the internet with it, then they should be able to make money with it on television. I believe they wanted (want?) to make the show in a 2D animated format. Not sure.
