The ability to save bricks anyway if the server is crashing?

I'm just wondering if it'd be possible when a server is crashing, force-save the bricks on the server before it crashes

when hitting the save button, it just gets stuck at save data download, wondering if somehow you could bypass this and force-save the bricks on the server, maybe rewrite the save function to save all ghosted bricks/bricks listed in the tree view

that or make an autosaver that constantly adds a brick on the server to the save file as soon as its planted/applied features to

Bushido:

if you close the 'save data download' window, the game saves bricks, but not events

... how would you know if the server crashed, anyway? that's like having a gun fire after it's been taken apart

When it crashes, the clients on the server are still sorta in the server, even the FX on the bricks still play their original animations

and whats the purpose of save data download anyway then? or is that for properties

one that works with events would be extremely helpful; Mold's eventing competitions experienced a crash in which the autosave did not save ownership, but had all events, another player had saved the bricks but the events did not

That was me :D

Anyway, this could be useful. Happened to me a few times.
