There's nothing wrong with it, it's just that if server threads are "general discussion" (apprently this title doesn't mean what it says!) then clan threads could be general discussion as well.

The "server browser on the homepage" isn't a subforum, or any thing that advertises servers. So it is completely unrelated, all it does is list the servers.

And note, I think only one topic can be created per user, and if you reset a server and want to restart the topic, you may clear all comments (may not select specifics) and then reset the entire OP.
