wasn't the gap between the v11 physics trailer and the v11 release just over three months? that's probably hardly relevant at all, but you have to notice how in both of the trailers the feature appears to be done, but there's still a gap between the release and the trailer. and if the release date is officially when/it's/done, we can assume it's just not done. maybe some bugs we don't know about. maybe things not related to the shadows+shaders. remember, they're also removing interiors and terrain. there may be some issues related to that. one possibility may be that since they apparently have had to work around them in the past, they're going back and re-doing some things they've had to do to work around them so they can be done in a better way? maybe they HAVE to re-write certain parts now? who knows. i wouldn't count on any more information being released anyway. |
