You have to crouch down and engage targets at a distance, hide behind a tree. When you are far away aim for the center of mass, don't waste time with head shots. If you stun them, you can then take the time to line up your shot to hit them in the head, or continue hitting them in their chest. Press 0 until your automatic guns are set to 1 or 2 burst shots, this way you do not waste ammo and you shoot more precisely. And one of your problems is you are playing Stalker difficulty. The way difficulty works in this game is it makes it harder for BOTH sides, not just you. Instead of making every enemy a bullet sponge it instead just makes the bullets more powerful in general, causing a head shot to essentially be an insta-kill for you and the AI. When fighting mutants, use a shotgun or some kind of magnum, little bullet calibers won't do much against a starved blood sucker. ALSO I doubt they are Spetsnaz. There are only a couple of them in the game and they are literally only sent in for huge problems. There is a military camp a little down the road opposite from the bridge, and there are patrols down there. Well they we're all classed as Veterans and had much more spec op like uniforms so I just assumed. |

Either way I don't really understand why they are there. Sometimes the military will send in back up for the bridge and re-guard it, but they are always normal military grunts. Just quick-save a lot and try different tactics. |
