Note that Playstation Netowork is free, and Playstation Plus (PS+) is option. It does have some benefits. The downside is, anything you got discounted/free from PS+ is removed when your subscription expires.

I actually love this game, it's only disturbing if you're easily disturbed, get the demo if you're not sure how good it is.
