You already had a cap, you just didn't know about it. It's been 250GB for a long time."On October 1, 2008, we amended our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) available at http://www.comcast.net/terms/use/ to establish a specific monthly data usage threshold of 250 GB/month per account for all residential customers."https://customer.comcast.com/Pages/HelpNFC.aspx?print=false&id=aup-lite
but in some places that cap doesn't even exist.my place falls under that.
all residential customers
then i don't have a cap and im not a residental customer, huzzah!otherwise i would've hit it during my download spree of november 11-17th, where i was downloading 50 GB a day.dont forget my other people in the family where they helped in the download coming.also, i downloaded a stuffload of games off of steam this month, why didn't i hit it now?
Why are you so defensive about it? Unless you have a business class internet connection (which you probably don't) you have a cap. End of story.
i host multiple minecraft servers a day/week/month, and we only use about 30GB out of our 250GB.
Hosting a server nobody visits consumes no bandwidth.
>1 mb/scan you spare me dome bandwidth
In other words you just disregard everything he said.
20 mb/s download1mb/s downloadExcept when the power goes out, the modem goes out, so we need power for phone and internet. Also, at my grandparents' house, we have dial-up because they live in the middle of nowhere.
dial-up still exists? holy stuff.
