Not too sure about sound, probably a medium level, but I have slept through multple storms in one of these:

I can only go to sleep in my room when my parents are in their room watching TV, but otherwise I can sleep anywhere.

Depends if I'm going to sleep in my bed it needs to be quiet if I'm just trying to rest somewhere I can fall into a light sleep in a crowded room.
