Having furniture purchasable will promote people to explore/adventure and mine to build up resources, so that they may decorate their base and show off to their friends. It also addresses the issue that only skilled builders will have something to show off in their base. We will still find a way to give players more creative control over their base, so we will keep you guys updated. |

Allow creation of furniture for a cost, it then goes through moderation for quality then becomes buyable You get a small amount of every purchase until you've got 2x what you paid to put it in back from it, as an incentive to make nice things So essentially: * You pay a deposit proportional to the size of the furniture (in 2x2 cubes, height also variable) * You design your piece of furniture and submit it to the market * An admin can check unapproved furniture on the market and approve it (or decline with a message) * Once it's approved, any person can buy the furniture * A percentage of the cost of that purchase goes to the creator until the total gained is 2x the depositFor colorable areas: Any bricks with the rainbow effect can be colored. All bricks of the same paint color that are colorable are colored together. So you have a red, blue and green brick, all with rainbow applied; coloring the red brick will color all other red bricks but leave blue and green ones alone. Some other additions would be nice, like a 'gem slot' for placing trophy gems (2x2 cube in size) and stuff like that. Also, once you've mined out like 10 gems from a block break it so you can expand your base, and have stairs, railings, walls, carpets and other buildy stuff purchaseable as furniture, so we can expand our base and change up the layout with items |

User-created furniture for sale sounds awesome and I'll definitely try to get that implemented. As far as mining goes, all of that is done in the main cavern system, not within your bases. Your base can be expanded in any direction except vertical (you have 2 8x cubes as far as height goes). We're not exactly sure the method of expanding your base, but I'm thinking certain items can be purchased that will break down walls and expand the base (similar to how you've seen done in mining mods). I don't quite understand what you meant about the coloring of furniture. Currently planned: furniture will have certain bricks that can be changed to a different color according to what color you've extracted from your gems. Multiple colors are not currently planned, but that (as well as most everything else) is subject to possible change. |

I think doing this should really be done before placement though - doing it within the actual world means that every brick has to be aware of the specific piece of furniture to which it belongs, which could be a pretty large amount of extra overhead. Then again, I guess they'll need that anyway for furniture to be able to be picked up again? Depends how you implement that. |
