This is exactly what I want to avoid. The point of this mod is to have fun, and that sounds like the opposite of fun.

But I still believe that mining can be implemented in a way that doesn't involve mindless clicking, and give a sense of exploration or adventure. Which is why I'm asking the brilliant minds of the Blockland forums. ;D

Yay!

Head is empty right here.

Suggestion lil, if a 8x8 cube is mined a lot, there's a chance of finding a freshly generated cave.
Promotes adventure.

For sure, that would be awesome! I would have to set out learning how to procedurally generate a cave, but that would be a fun undertaking!
Also, the generated caves could have different "biomes" if you will. Like a dark crystal cave, or magma based cave. Ooh, that could be fun

Somehow I locked the topic up? Sorry about that...

Good news: I updated the inventory system to have more of a backpack-like system. Also I wrote an algorithm to update the amount of inventory spaces at any time (so I can allow upgrades in inventory in the game)

Pictures only show an 8x8 grid, just cuz that's what I loaded.
