Blockland and my C.P.U.
Tyler799:
They aren't buddies, that's for sure.
I've been playing Blockland for about 3-4 years now, and I've just gotten used to the fact that Blockland is apparently resource intensive, but I never really understood why. The thing is, it will often throw my C.P.U. to 90-100% capacity. I do understand that unless my computer shuts down, this shouldn't be a problem. But why is it like this anyways?
Its not like Blockland is Crysis or something. Blockland doesn't have dynamic shading, amazing physics, or some out-of-this-world game engine. Its just Blockland. So why is this happening?
Since its important, here are my specs:
Macbook Pro Late 2010:
O.S: Mac OS X 10.7.4 Lion (Upgraded from Snow Leopard, BIG MISTAKE)
Size: 13 Inch
CPU: Intel 2.4 GHz Processor
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 320M with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory
R.A.M: 4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 memory
P.S: Also, I was having a problem with Flash Player, and it was making flash videos, and youtube do about the same to my computer. After uninstalling it completely, this went away, and I can still watch youtube, but I can't use flash. If anyone has any clues to why this happens, or how to fix it, please let me know.
P.S.S: Please don't post "Macs suck and ur lame cuz pc way bettur den dat shiz" Or anything like that.

P.S.S.S: I also can't enter fullscreen mode, it just makes the window disappear. Upon restarting, its in fullscreen, but then I can't put it at 1280x800 (My fullscreen Resolution)
Extrude:
Your computer specs are really bad in the first place, so it's not a problem with Blockland...

Those specs aren't bad. Those should be able to run most games just fine. Anyways, its a laptop.
