About 5/10 kids at my school play a pirated version and think they know everything. About 1/10 owns Minecraft. About 1/30 owns it and knows what they're talking about when they talk about it.  About 1/60 pay attention to the news, and are Minecraft MLG legit pros. About 1/90 kids at my school knows how to install mods. My school is too sports-oriented; I think I started the freshmen gaming lunch table. However, one of my friends who is also a redhead legitimately has Minecraft and can install mods, follows news, and accepts other games. Beat that.

Unfortunately, this is pretty much the case for my school too.
Only my friends have actually purchased it. The rest have pirated it and think they know everything about it. They don't realize they are playing an Alpha version and complain when the graphics suck.
