The entire point of language is to convey ideas from one person to another clearly, and precisely. Wordiness and pretentiousness in word choice is, more often than not, criminally inefficient. Let's compare what you wrote:
Possibly if you had the brain capacity of something more than a brick, you would be able to comprehend the advanced formatting of my syntax.
To something less handicapped, more refined, and actually respectable:
Maybe if you were smarter than a brick you'd be able to understand my fancy writing.
Any idiot can take a simple idea and make it more complicated. It takes intelligence to take a complicated idea, and make it simple.
And an FYI: "...advanced formatting of my syntax" is redundant. So while it's cool that you think pretentious writing a believable measure of intelligence, at least take the care to understand what you're saying before you hit that "Post" button.
