Author Topic: Well stuff, I discovered my girlfriend has permanent depression  (Read 2083 times)

In the end, this comes down to two choices depending on the type of person you are.
1. You think your mental health is more important and you have to put yourself first. In this case, break up with her.

2. You put her before yourself. Not necessarily a bad thing, this is personally what I do. In this case, take all the advice I had given before.

Well, if you can confirm this, I will feel somewhat better.

you cannot legally create or sell a medicine unless its for a technical "disease"
its the FDA scam.
so then the goal for drug companies is, is to lobby to create a disease out of any and all common ailments. so that they can sell pills for it.

migraines = big headache? but its still a headache.
acid reflux disease = heart burn. BAD heartburn? sure. but its still the same loving thing.

restless leg syndrome? not a specific problem, but an ailment of 50 possible real issues the doctor SHOULD be looking for. but they dont and give you some pointless pain pills.

fibromyalgia? its the term they use when you are having pains that CANT BE EXPLAINED. but there is a pill for it... selling meds for an unknown ailment. hmm

nearly all mental disorders (except for the clearly uncontrollably insane)
add, adhd
depression
bipolar
the list goes on.
all require self control for a 100% cure. yes pills work, but are unnecessary.

I am tempted to do #1, but I honestly don't know yet.

Thanks for clearing that up, man. I am now a little less worried.

people are brainwashed into thinking they need meds and they are untreatable without them.

thats marketing...

I am glad there's another adult that understands how life works in this thread

well ugliness is the most common reason of depression in girls (like ur girlfriend)

BUT

on the brightside, you can sell antidepressants in the school bathroom for good money. in columbia, you can sell xanex for almost $4 a pill

Dextroamphetamine is cool too

I have acid reflux. I learnedly I could simply control it by eating healthier and staying away from greasy foods. Some doctors were telling me I needed to take a pill a day. I definitely don't need to.

these truths piss people off because they have been lied to so that others can sell them a daily product (meds) for a lifetime without really helping them at all.

its easier to just want to believe they are horribly diseased, and they milk the attention and pity of it. and they victimize themselves with the ailment as an excuse for other problems in their lives they are failing in.

If you love something let it free if it drives off a cliff it was never yours.
But in all seriousness hope you work it out
