I was stupid enough to lose the email address that had my key.

since I feel attached to the cause of blockland's advancement I refuse to use a key in more than one place.
I'm getting a key for my new computer when the new version comes out.

But I bought my key several years ago, these things are hard to find and surely if my key is linked to this account, I shouldn't need anymore proof.

you have to understand that Badspot is probably very busy between v21 and many other payment issues. Just wait it out and in the meantime collect any proof of purchase you have. The last thing you should do is send him a million emails / PM's because that'll just piss him off.
