Yea that's pretty poor planning.

Also whats with the speaker setup that would annoy me having only sound from one side and it seems like it would have a minor echo type effect because the sound of the one closer would reach you faster, I mean not like an extremely noticeable echo as sound travels really fast but I imagine it would sound just a tad different and that would annoy me.

I had a glass desk, I hated how dirty it would always look.  I also had other problems with it because it was less of a desk and more of a cart. I almost shattered the glass and sent my monitor crashing to the ground more than once when I had it. make sure those bars that the suction cups are on are in real tight and can't roll around on you, because they would roll and nearly drop the glass all the time.

also, I have a corner desk now but I don't face it towards the wall.
I love having a wall behind me while I'm on the computer, it ensures nobody can sneak up on me if I'm doing something I don't want other people to see or whatever.

my desk is older than me and is sloppily painted blue (in certain spots you can see the original color; brown) and it is pretty much a sturdy slab of wood on top of two drawer-like things.

i think my mother had it when she was young or something like that, i do not recall my desks background story.

yea I know, I was gonna change it but I already twist-tied all the cords together and was too lazy/tired to fix it. I'm gonna move the left one to the other side of the monitor where the lamp is when I get to it.
