Textures replacing themselves?

So just a little bit ago I downloaded some different brick textures, put them in the right place 'n all, but when I looked at em in BL they were still the default ones. So I quit out and somehow the default ones were back in the shapes folder and replaced the new ones I put in there when I started BL.
any ideas why?

because blockland launcher. are you hosting your server? did your make the read only, or did you use zack0wack0's thing?

are the texture files read only? the blockland launcher patches all default files every startup, that's why textures broke in v21.

I wouldn't think so, I just copied them from the .zip and pasted them in the shapes file.
