Same. I've just now gotten into the habit of doing that, though.

I always have to be on wrench when closing my inventory.
I also hate placing single bricks that are red. I usually use a lighter grey color instead.
¥ola:
A couple more.
I work from top down, roof to floor.
I have not ever once used the brick inventory setters.
I close my inventory after I kill someone.
Emitters can't go through bricks, such as fire going up into the ceiling.
I event after I'm done with whatever the build is, completely.
I do NOT use the fillcan.
I immediatly change my paint to white after joining a server

For some reason I always try to close the inventory while my wrench is out.
