/gethex not working?

I don't know why, but /gethex doesn't seem to work for me on my new laptop.
I'm on a relatively clean install of blockland, and /gethex worked just fine on my old laptop, but when i downloaded it on this one, it's not working. Help?

Its an add-on.

It gives you the hexcode (ex. 00ff00) for use in print events.
<color:00ff00>This text is green
etc.

I've tried just about everything short of a clean blockland reinstall.
